so much god in US

there is so much religion in the states. i wonder if it has anything to do with some sort of god or politics. seems to be one in the same here. well put it this way... i dont think you could say, i dont believe in god and get elected here. from an outsider's point of view its pretty fanatical here. i hope there is a second coming for their sake. would be a shame if it was just a good story by 12 fisherman.
